British seagull boat engine, a monument to naval mechanics dating from the 1930s. Called the Solex of the seas, this British-made outboard engine was proclaimed engine of the year in 1938. It was then a key part of the British allied armada during the 1944 landings. Complete, fully restored and with its original four-blade propeller, it is mounted on a custom-made stand. Very nice piece of naval collection and nautical decoration. Vintage and retro boat engine.
