An entirely hand-crafted sculpture of a giant nut in Pyrenean marble. Finished to a high standard with striking details, this sculpture by Cedric Motte seeks to trick the mind by imagining a "soft marble".
The aim of this technique, which requires mastery of both gesture and material, is to make the technique disappear and give the impression that the marble is malleable and easy to shape. The result is a marble nut of singular dimensions and impressive weight.
