This Atex industrial wall lamp is an authentic luminaire from an EDF thermal power station, originally designed for use in a classified environment. The body is made from pickled and treated cast aluminium with a matt graphite finish, with two end shields with bolted clamping fins. The thick securit glass tube, held between the two heads, houses a decorative heating filament that gives it a characteristic warm, amber glow. The exposed brass screws add a contrasting touch to the industrial feel of the room.
The wiring has been adapted for domestic use: LED-compatible E27 socket, 220V connection. The lamp can be wall-mounted or placed freely on a console, workbench or sideboard, thanks to its integrated stabilising feet. The tube can be opened by screwing, so the bulb can be easily replaced without the need for special tools.
This Atex industrial wall lamp is a natural addition to any factory, loft or workshop decor. An authentic, non-reproduced piece, it combines contemporary functionality with period industrial materials, for fans of vintage lighting with a strong visual character.
