Original and exclusive "Preserve Armstrong" artwork by pop art artist Aiiroh. Unique piece numbered and signed by the artist and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. This work is a lithograph on a resin panel enhanced with acrylic paint, the signature touch of this French artist.

Preserve Armstrong" depicts an astronaut in a preservation jar against an ornately detailed background.

This setting evokes a reflection on the way in which contemporary society freezes its idols, transforming them into cultural relics. The jar symbolises both protection and confinement, suggesting that these figures are both venerated and isolated from their original context. Aiiroh uses mixed media, combining stencils, aerosol and collaged logos or brand elements, to create dynamic, colourful compositions that question our relationship with consumerism and modern iconography.

Aiiroh is a French artist born in Narbonne in 1987, recognized for his style blending street art and pop art. He began his artistic career by painting graffiti in train stations, before moving towards stencil and collage, influenced by poster artists such as Raymond Hains and Jacques Villeglé.

His work is characterized by the integration of brand logos and popular symbols, which he juxtaposes with dynamic and colorful compositions, creating a contrast between mass culture and artistic expression. Aiiroh has exhibited his works in around twenty galleries in France and internationally, including in Switzerland, Italy, the United Kingdom, Greece, Israel, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.

The Preserve series by French artist Aiiroh is an emblematic collection that fuses pop art and street art to question the way popular culture is preserved and sacralized. Each work depicts an iconic figure — whether celebrities such as Tupac Shakur, Michael Jackson and Andy Warhol, or fictional characters such as Darth Vader, Aquaman or Tom & Jerry — enclosed in a glass jar, in the manner of a precious object to be preserved.

This staging evokes a reflection on the way contemporary society freezes its idols, transforming them into cultural relics. The jar symbolizes both protection and confinement, suggesting that these figures are simultaneously venerated and isolated from their original context. Aiiroh uses mixed techniques, combining stencils, aerosol and collages of logos or brand elements, to create dynamic and colorful compositions that question our relationship to consumption and modern iconography.

Each piece in the Preserve series is unique and signed, reinforcing the idea of a precious and singular work. This series is part of Aiiroh’s artistic approach, which seeks to question the impact of mass culture on our perception of symbols and iconic figures.
