Designed by designer Pierre Colleu and entirely original and preserved in collector's condition, this Mickey Starform piece features bright colours, clean lines and no noticeable flaws. It was obviously made at the time under a Disney licence, recognisable by the gold button on the back featuring Mickey Mouse. He has his original yellow feet and his emblematic smile.

Pierre Colleu (born in 1948) is a French designer-sculptor, who founded a research and design center in Crozes-Hermitage in 1984. He developed a complete production chain, from sketch to functional object, and designed iconic furniture, notably the Mickey Mouse chest of drawers around 1980, now sought after in vintage design.
An expert in composite materials and thermoforming, he also applied his talents to building, with a bioclimatic house in 1990. An international lecturer and winner of multiple awards (Innovation Oscar, Siemens Grand Prize…), he has made his mark on French design by distinguishing himself in both industry and architecture.
