This Enamelled plaque Rolex Bond Street is an original circular sign, dated 1980s, from an official Rolex retailer in Bond Street, London. The deep dark green background features the "ROLEX" logotype in gold capitals, surmounted by the iconic orange enamel crown. The words "OFFICIAL RETAILER" in orange and "BOND STREET LONDON" in finer lettering complete the composition, faithful to the brand's visual standards for the period. Four chromed fixing screws are positioned at the cardinal points of the disc.
The brilliance of the enamel is uniform over the entire surface, with no cracks, chips or discolouration of note. The overall condition is impeccable for a timepiece of this age, making it a rare example on the watch collectibles market.

Bond Street, the emblematic thoroughfare of London’s Mayfair district, has been home for decades to the world’s most prestigious luxury houses. Rolex long maintained a network of carefully selected official retailers there, each identified by these enamelled plaques that have today become highly sought after by collectors.
Their limited production, combined with their gradual removal from shopfronts during store renovations in the 1990s and 2000s, makes them increasingly difficult to find in good condition. The enamel on metal is fired at approximately 800°C, which explains the remarkable resistance of these pieces to time and the elements — and the intact brilliance of this example after more than forty years.
