This superb Amilcar Snowy Pixi car is a polychrome lead metal collector's item made by the Pixi workshops. Listed under number 46962 in the "Les Images Mythiques" collection, it features Snowy at the wheel of a red Amilcar, inspired by an illustration by Hergé for a 1954 greetings card (and not from the album "Les Cigares du Pharaon" as is often believed).
Sculpted with Pixi's characteristic precision, this 7cm-long figurine captures the moment with dynamism and humour. Snowy, Tintin's faithful companion, appears proud and determined, piloting this vintage racing car. The hand-painted finish enhances the details of the chrome grille, the spoked wheels and the scarlet bodywork, giving the object a unique handcrafted charm.
