This giant Playmobil Princess figure is 160 cm tall and was produced under official licence in 2020 to coincide with the release of the film *Playmobil: The Movie*. Made entirely from PVC, it is lightweight and easy to move around despite its size. The head is removable, and the arms and head are articulated. The original base, screen-printed with ‘Playmobil The Movie’, is present and complete.
The figure has a lovely overall patina with a few slight signs of wear, consistent with its age and use as a display piece. The golden armour, the scale-like details, the belt and the purple tabard are faithful to the character as she appears in the film. The level of detail in the paintwork and moulding is typical of Playmobil’s large-scale productions intended for shop windows and promotional spaces.
This giant Playmobil Princess figure is suitable for a retail space, a playroom, a showroom or an interior with a strong pop culture theme. Produced in a limited edition for promotional use, it is now out of production and difficult to find in complete condition.

Playmobil: The Movie was released in theaters in August 2019 in Europe and the United States, produced by ON Animation Studios and distributed by STX Entertainment. The first feature-length animated film entirely dedicated to the Playmobil universe, it brings together a wide range of characters drawn from the brand’s historical ranges — pirates, knights, police officers, princesses — in an adventure spanning multiple fictional worlds. The production gave rise to an international promotional campaign, including the manufacture of oversized figures intended for cinemas, shopping centers, and partner events.
Geobra Brandstätter, Playmobil’s parent company, was founded in Germany in 1876. The Playmobil figure as we know it was introduced in 1974 by Hans Beck, and its morphology — round head, articulated arms, fixed smile — has remained unchanged ever since. This formal consistency is precisely what makes the oversized versions immediately recognizable: they reproduce, at monumental scale, an object familiar to several generations of European children.
