This giant Playmobil Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man is a 180 cm figure produced under official licence in 2017, as part of the collaboration between Playmobil, Columbia Pictures Industries and the Ghostbusters franchise. Made entirely from PVC, he is both lightweight and easy to move despite his size. The head is removable, and the arms and head are articulated, offering several possible display positions.
Official Playmobil, Ghostbusters and Columbia Pictures Industries markings are visible on the piece. The blue, screen-printed "Playmobil" base is original and intact. The overall condition is impeccable: no scratches, no deformation, bright colours and contrasts preserved.
This giant Playmobil Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man is destined for a commercial space, a collection room, a showroom or an interior with a strong pop culture identity. A rare piece, produced in a limited series, difficult to find in this condition on the secondary market.

Ghostbusters was released in US theaters in June 1984, directed by Ivan Reitman and starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis. The film immediately generated extensive merchandise, with the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man — a character appearing in the film’s final sequence — becoming one of its most recognizable figures. His round silhouette in a sailor outfit quickly entered global popular culture throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
In 2017, Playmobil launched a Ghostbusters range under official Columbia Pictures license, comprising standard-scale figures as well as oversized versions intended for promotional use and point-of-sale display. These large-format pieces, produced in limited quantities, were not distributed through conventional retail channels, which today restricts their availability on the collectors’ market.
