This vintage bollard fountain Pont à Mousson fountain bollard dates from the early 20th century. The "Neptune" model, identifiable by its fluted silhouette and domed head surmounted by the spout, has been restored in our workshops to a mirror-polished finish. The original cast iron has been reworked to reveal the lustre of the metal, while deliberately retaining a few areas of the original blue patina to preserve the authentic character of the piece.
The set is complete: fluted cylindrical barrel, cartridge stamped Pont à Mousson, side cam tap, square base with mounting plate and original cast iron drain grate. This grid, rarely found on this type of bollard, is recessed in front of the barrel to collect the overflow. The piece is stable and functional in its decorative presentation.
An authentic piece of urban furniture that has been carefully restored, this vintage bollard fountain is perfect for an industrial or urban interior, a loft, a showroom or a reception area with a strong character.

Established in Lorraine since 1856, the Pont-à-Mousson foundries quickly specialised in the production of cast iron pipes and equipment for water distribution. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the company supplied many French cities with fountain hydrants, manhole covers and drainage plates, contributing to the modernisation of urban water networks.
The Neptune model is one of the hydrants intended for the public supply of drinking water and for street cleaning. Recognisable by its fluted shaft and moulded head, it was produced in several variants according to municipal orders. These hydrants, now withdrawn from the streets, have become sought-after objects for their heritage value.
