This Concorde wheel is the authentic nose wheel of the supersonic aircraft, presented in its original condition without any restoration. The Goodyear tyre, designed specifically for supersonic aircraft, retains all of its period markings: Goodyear lettering embossed on the sidewall, reference label EJ1585 affixed to the edge and visible serial numbers. The aluminium rim has its original blue paintwork partially preserved, its fixing bolts with black caps and its central hub intact. All in all, this is an impeccable collector's item that has not been tampered with in any way.

The dimensions of Concorde's nosewheel are unusual: more compact than the wheels on the main landing gear, it meets specific mechanical and aerodynamic requirements linked to the geometry of the aircraft and the constraints of landing at high speed. The part is mounted on castors to make it easier to move and preserve its structural integrity.

This Concorde wheel is aimed at collectors of prestige aeronautical items, museums and civil aviation enthusiasts looking for an authentic relic of one of the most emblematic aircraft in aviation history. Original Concorde parts with their full markings and in this state of preservation are extremely rare on the international market today.

The Concorde is the result of a Franco-British cooperation initiated in 1962, leading to commercial service beginning in January 1976 with Air France and British Airways. The first commercially operated supersonic airliner, it reached a cruising speed of Mach 2 — approximately 2,150 km/h — at an altitude of 18,000 metres, connecting Paris to New York in under 3 hours 30 minutes. Its distinctive silhouette, with its articulated nose and delta wing, makes it one of the most recognizable objects in the history of civil aviation.

Twenty examples were built in total, of which fourteen were commercial airliners. The Concorde was withdrawn from active service in October 2003, after 27 years of commercial operation. Since then, authentic parts from decommissioned aircraft — cabin equipment, structural elements and mechanical landing gear components — have attracted growing demand from institutions and private collectors. Their absolute rarity, owing to the small number of aircraft produced, places them among the most sought-after aeronautical pieces in the world.
