This Formula One Orlinski Trophy is an absolutely rare collector's item: it is the only example officially intended for sale of the trophy created for the 2018 French Grand Prix. An original work by the famous sculptor Richard Orlinski, this spectacular sculpture is exactly the same as the one raised by Lewis Hamilton on the podium at Le Castellet. It represents the emblematic "Wild Kong" brandishing a Pirelli P-Zero tyre, dressed in a vibrant blue-white-red tricolour livery in homage to the return of F1 to France.
Standing an imposing 70 cm high, this work of art rests on a cylindrical base in brushed metal bearing the official engraving: "Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix de France 2018 - Le Castellet 22-24 June - 1st Place". Unlike commercial replicas, this unique Formula One Orlinski Trophy has the same perfect specification and lacquer finish as the trophy presented to the driver, with its diamond facets characteristic of the "Born Wild" style. It comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Richard Orlinski, guaranteeing its exclusivity.
This sculpture embodies a rare fusion of contemporary art and motorsport history. It captures the essence of Lewis Hamilton's victory in the rebirth of the French Grand Prix after a ten-year absence. To own this trophy is to own the only opportunity to acquire a twin to the one that sits in the seven-time world champion's trophy cabinet, signed by the world's best-selling French artist.

On June 24, 2018, the Paul Ricard circuit buzzed with excitement for the grand return of Formula 1 to France. To mark this event, Christian Estrosi and Pirelli called upon Richard Orlinski to break the codes of the traditional trophy. The artist revisited his “Wild Kong” to make it a symbol of invincible strength, creating an image that went around the world when Lewis Hamilton lifted it on the top step of the podium. This tricolor gorilla instantly became a pop-cultural icon, marking a bold break in the conservative aesthetic of F1 awards.
Beyond its artistic value, this trophy tells the story of Lewis Hamilton’s domination that year, speeding towards his fifth world title. It symbolizes the alliance between the raw performance of mechanics and the emotion of art. It is a piece charged with adrenaline and glory, a direct witness to the celebration of modern asphalt heroes, and which continues to fascinate with its boldness and singular history.
