This 1/8th scale Alpine Bburago A110 is the masterpiece created in 1998 for the industrial launch of the toy. A unique and certified model, it was used as a reference to shape the final mould and assess the proportions retained for series production. Produced piece by piece in wood and resin, it is completed by a number of aluminium elements that provide the technical details of the bodywork.
The precision of the model illustrates the Italian manufacturer's prototyping work: lines faithful to the original A110, studied proportions, meticulous finishes on the windows, headlights and wheels. The body is finished in Alpine blue, in keeping with the model's emblematic livery. The car has remained in its original condition, untouched since its launch.
Sold with its official Bburago-stamped storage box, this Alpine Bburago Master is a rare collector's item, at the crossroads of the history of industrial toys and top-of-the-range model cars.

Founded in 1974 in Burago di Molgora, Lombardy, the Bburago company established itself in the world of die-cast metal scale models. Specialising in the reproduction of sports cars and iconic European automobiles, the Italian brand has marked several generations of collectors with its 1/18 and 1/24 scales.
Before going into production, each model went through a manual prototyping stage: the Master piece, crafted in wood and resin, was used to validate the proportions and details prior to the manufacture of the industrial moulds. These prototypes, rarely preserved, bear witness to the artisanal process that preceded the mass production of Bburago toys.
